Honryuji Temple is the head temple of the Shinmon School of the Hokke sect of the Buddhism.
It was founded by monk Nichishin.
"The Kishibojin"（The goddes of children） that defends the temple from the conflagration is enshrined to the main hall.
"Pine that babies stop crying in the night" is in front of the founder's hall.
