Chishaku-in1

Chishaku-in is the head temple of the Shingon Chisan sect of the Buddhism.
The sliding door paintings in the Repository are painted by Hasegawa Tohaku during Momoyama period.
There are designated as National Treasures.
A Kongo sutra was written by the Chinese artist Zhang Jizhi.
It is designated as National Treasures.
Many other registered cultural assents in the temple's possession.
The garden with the pond is a Place of Scenic Beauty.
It is also said to date from the Momoyama period.
