Hensho-ji belong to the Omuro school of the Shingon sect of Buddhism.
The temple was built in 989 by the priest Kanjyo.
The principal image in this temple is a wooden statue of the 11-Faced Kannon.
Both a wooden statue of the 11-Faced Kannon and a wooden statue of the deity FudoMyoo were each carved from a single block of wood.
They are buddhist images from establishment.
