Honenin

Honenin temple belong to the Jodo Sect of The Buddhism.
The priest Honen and his disciple, Juren and Anraku lived in here in early Kamakura Period.
Afterwards, The priest Banbushina and his disciple, the priest Nincho, restored it as a Buddhist invocation hall in 1680.
The main hall enshrines a statue of Amitabha Buddha created by the priest Eshin.
Camellia floweres scattered wonderful aspect to the approach of this temple is famous.
