Shisendo

This temple belong to the Soto sect of Buddhism.
It was originally built in 1641 as a mountain villa of Ishikawa Jozan.
The images of the 36 Chinese poets was painted by Kano Tanyu (1602-1674). It is hanging on the wall in the Shisen-no-ma Hall.
The garden is beautiful in each four seasons.
There are wistaria, iris, hydrangea, bush clover, etc there.
