Sekizan Zenin

The priest Anne established this temple in 888, after the high priest Jikaku Daishi Ennin had died.
The establishment was hope for Jikaku Daishi Ennin.
The principal image in this temple is the statue of Sekizan Myojin. Sekizan Myojin is called a god of the azimuth in China. It has the role for this temple to defend the imperial palace from a bad azimuth.
The autumn tint of the approach to this temple is beautiful .
