Shotenkaku Museum was built in1984.
This museum has exhibits of treasures and arts of Shokokuji Temple and sub-temple.
It contains paintings on the walls by Ito Jakuchu and paintings on the sliding doors by Hasegawa Tohaku.
They are renowned as fine examples of painting from Zen culture.
