Sesshudera

Fundain Temple is the sub temple of Tofukuji Temple. It is also called Sesshudera Temple.
The square south garden in this temple is known as Tsurukamenoniwa (Garden of Crane and Tortoise).
It was constructed by Sesshu Toyo among 1460 to 1466.
He was a prominent master of suiboku (ink painting).
The Chashitsu Tonantei (a tearoom) is located behind a study room.
The tearoom is a style of Ichijo Akiyoshi favor.
