Fushimi Inari Taisha

This shrine was originally built on the Mt. Inari by the Hata Clan in 711.
Fushimi Inari Taisha is the head Shrine of about 30,000 Inari shrines.
This shrine has been revered by many people as the deity of bountiful crops and good business.
A lot of red torii gates are placed.
People have donated them, hoping that their wishes will come true.
Today, people attach much faith in the shrine as the deity of business prosperity. The shrine accepts a crowd of visitors during the new year period.
