Chokenji

This temple belong to the Daigo school of Buddhism. The main image in this temple is Happi Benzaiten.
It is also known as fushimino-Bentensan.
This temple was founded in 1699 by Tatsube Takuminokami Masanoki. And, he enshrined the goddess Benzaiten.
Benzaiten protects all sentient beings through music and is popularly worshipped as one of the Seven Gods of Fortune, which bestow happiness, wisdom, and wealth.
