This temple is the head temple of the Jodo sect of the Buddhism.
"San-mon gate" is the biggest wooden gate in Japan, it is about 24 meters high.
The main hall "meido"contains an image of Honen.
Honen is the founder of the Jodo sect of the Buddhism.
This temple also has a "squeaking" nightingale floor from "Main hall" to "Hojo holl".
